Singer-songwriter and guitarist Lou Reed performs “Heroin” on a Klein electric guitar.
The clip is from a documentary on the highly influential Velvet Underground (1965-1973).
I remember when the Velvet Underground reformed (When? 14 or 15 years ago?) reading a review of one of their gigs and the reviewer was really fixated on Lou Reed playing a “lollipop guitar” instead of a “real guitar”.
