Well, hi there again!
BAck from south east asia, back to reality. Snow, cold, windy, stormy, and whatnot. What else to do but cruising the net and find innovations in stringed instruments?

All this sounds VERY promising. However, I wanted to put in one cent into ergonomic pick that was discussed some years ago. I found this site.

Marc — seismic events are happening, mostly behind the scenes. For initial beta testing we’ve selected seven luthiers to participate. Each of them is highly qualified, highly motivated, and brings excellent skills to the process. I am VERY excited to see what they create.

Not including me, our group is as follows:

Chris Forsage — 7 string (#26 Gold w/multi-scale individual bridge)
Dreamer Guitarworks (Celso Freire) — 7 string (#30 Red w/multi-scale individual bridge)

Ralph Novak — 6 string (#40 Hardcoat Clear w/multi-scale individual bridge)
Ram Guitars — 6 string (#26 Gold w/single plate bridge)
Bill Wilkat — 6 string (#22 Peach w/single plate bridge)
Rick Canton — 6 string (#16 Turqouise w/single plate bridge)
Daniel Hehnke — 6 string (#36 Black w/multi-scale individual bridge)

NOTE: Many of the instruments being bult will be offered for sale, so if you see your favorite luthier on the list, contact him and get involved early in the design process. Colors refer to the Toone & Townsend website options: http://www.toone-townsend.com/colors.html

All except Daniel Hehnke are professional luthiers. Daniel is an aerospace engineer and amateur luthier who will represent the DIY builder demographic. His will give us balanced feedback from an alternate perspectives.

Our beta group will be receiving their hardware during the next two weeks or so, depending upon location and shipping times.
