Website Statistics September 2009
After a bit of a hiatus, we return to publishing our website traffic numbers. We do so for several reasons. First, we want everyone to know that we gather anonymous statistics in order to improve eLUTHERIE.org. Second, we strongly believe that many of our readers, who include stringed instrument builders and related business owners, would benefit from our Marketplace exposure. Site data such as this gives this significant portion of our readership the opportunity to make informed comparisons about potential advertising opportunities.
Website Traffic Statistics: September 1, 2009 to September 30, 2009
- 15,339 visits from 3,850 cities
- 73.39% of visitors were new vs. 26.61% repeat visitors
- Pages/visit – 3.16

Rob – I just realized October marks eLUTHERIE.org’s eight month launch date. It would be nifty to do a longer term traffic evaluation when we publish October stats. Based on the numbers above we’d be looking at somewhere around 150,000 visitors.
It is incredibly hard to imagine the site’s only been up for such a short time. What a year this has been!

The range is astounding. I noticed the numbers of new vs. return visitors. It’s great to have new people in and good to see people who came in early hanging around and contributing. Congrats on the first 8 months. What are we doing for the 1st birthday? Cake? Chuck E. Cheese?
